Footage of Donald Trump’s late-night return to Washington has people hitting pause, rewinding and squinting at their screens. The president stepped into the doorway of Air Force One and headed toward the stairs cautiously, gripping the railing tightly. After a tough few weeks of campaign traveling, the public says his campaigning should come to an end Trump drifts toward his military escort on the tarmac in a viral clip shared Monday. (Photo by Samuel Corum/Getty Images) Trump’s team of aides are often seen traveling with a bag that has raised questions about what’s inside. During his Texas visit last week, the 80-year-old spent roughly 90 minutes at the Port of Corpus Christi, hyping Republican Senate nominee Ken Paxton. He mocked Democratic challenger James Talarico, at one point playing an entire attack ad for the crowd. Trump Pretends to End Rally Early, Hoping Crowd Will Beg Him to Stay, But Scrambles When He Notices Their Unexpected Reaction Trump Gets Ripped to Shreds on Live TV In Savage Takedown That Could Leave His Ego in Pieces Now people are mocking him after his struggle down Air Force One stairs during nightfall. “He’s having a tough time,” one observer noted as Trump slowly came down the stairs. Another noticed, “Looks like his man-sitters were following him closely, afraid that he would fall off the stairs. They know something. There’s an underlying health problem with the man.” Cabinet members followed behind, including executive assistant Natalie Harp, with a medium-sized black bag. Harp, also nicknamed his “human printer,” has never directly disclosed what’s in her bag. This opened the door, leaving many to draw their own conclusion. One skeptic said, “I’m convinced that Nurse Natalie is carrying the Nuclear Codes in that oversized bag.” “Harp’s giant duffle bag is a prop to make it seem she has some sort of official role requiring her to be at his side 24×7. Everything in this lunatic WH is theatre,” added another person. The moment echoed another Air Force One clip showing Harp standing in the doorway with her bag. The plane had just touched down at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland as she stopped to speak to a pilot. The arrival video with a pointed question. “Something unfamiliar was wheeled through Air Force One last night.” The post claimed it came out ahead of Secretary of State Marco Rubio and others, and before Trump’s ever-present aide and the president himself stepped off. In the frame, a man in a dark suit guides a tall, dark object with an extended handle toward the top of the stairs. Moments later, Harp appears in the doorway. Then Trump steps out, taps the side of his right leg three times, grabs the handrail and makes his slow trip down the steps. Once on the tarmac, he doesn’t slide straight into the Beast, the armored presidential limo waiting nearby. Instead, as one video on X shows, he walks right past it to talk with reporters before eventually climbing in. The replies split between people who saw an ordinary bag and people who weren’t buying it. Some went straight to medical theories. “Portable defibrillator or something else medical?” one person asked. “It’s a rolling briefcase,” another person wrote, while another simply laughed it off as “luggage.” One user played along with the obvious answer, writing that it looked like a wheeled suitcase. There’s no evidence the item is medical equipment, and the White House has not commented on the clip. But the speculation didn’t come out of nowhere. In July 2025, the White House disclosed his chronic venous insufficiency diagnosis after photos showed swelling in his lower legs. His doctor insisted there was no sign of deep vein thrombosis and that the president “remains in excellent health.” Since then, nearly every trip up or down those stairs has turned into a viewing party. Last month, Trump paused mid-climb on the Air Force One steps while cameras zeroed in on his dangling arm. Earlier this month, cameras caught an awkward shuffle and what viewers swore was something under his pants, reviving the leg-brace chatter. And back in December, he slapped his leg before heading down the stairs in Palm Beach. Harp’s presence adds another layer. The 35-year-old executive assistant has been spotted on leg after leg of Trump’s midterm blitz. The Irish Star reported that her oversized black bag has become its own source of online fascination. None of it is new territory for Trump. For years, he turned Joe Biden’s stumbles on those same stairs into rally material. Now, less than a week to go before an election his own party is nervous about, it’s his arrivals people are pausing frame by frame. Looks like they are bringing Trump a walker.
