Frontier Airlines is alerting passengers to an active phishing scam that is currently being investigated by the company.

n email requesting flight, reservation, payment or contact information from travelers.
In the statement, Frontier said the company will never contact customers with requests asking them to:
Revalidate or confirm an upcoming flight or reservation
Re-enter or confirm credit card information
Provide payment information to receive a partial or full refund
Click a link or button to confirm card details, billing information, or a refund
Also, if travelers do receive suspicious emails claiming to be from Frontier Airlines, the company said:
Do not click any links or buttons in the message.
Do not enter or re-enter your credit card, payment, login, or personal information.
Do not reply to the message or use contact information contained within it.
If you need to review a Frontier reservation, navigate to Frontier through the trusted website or app rather than through a link in the message.
Anyone who may have provided financial information through an email that could be suspicious should contact their credit card provider or financial institution, the company said.
Frontier Airlines was working to investigate the issue.
