RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Over 11,000 Central Virginia homes and businesses are without power Friday night due to severe storms. On Friday, Sept. 4, severe thunderstorms rolled into parts of Central Virginia, bringing heavy downpours and strong winds to the region. As of about 10 p.m. on Friday, mor e than 11,263 Dominion Energy customers were without power in Central Virginia.
