Drivers commuting to work ahead of the holiday weekend found traffic slowed along I-476 in Delaware County early Friday due to an overturned tractor-trailer. Officials said the incident happened at about 6:19 a.m. when a tractor-trailer overturned onto the side of the roadway along I-476 at Exit 5 for U.S. Route 1 in Springfield. Though officials called the incident a multi-vehicle crash, only a tractor-trailer could be spotted at the scene of the crash by NBC10’s SkyForce 10 early Friday. However, officials did not immediately detail what may have caused this crash and did not say if anyone was hurt in this incident. But, an investigation was ongoing.
