By Signal Staff  Screwball comedy comes to Santa Clarita Valley residents’ screens this weekend as Buzz Classic Movies presents a Saturday night showing of “My Man Godfrey.”   The 1936 film starring Carole Lombard and William Powell has earned a 97% “fresh” rating fro m the critics based on 38 reviews, and a 90% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes’ “Popcornmeter” based on more than 5,000 ratings.  “Fifth Avenue socialite Irene Bullock needs a forgotten man to win a scavenger hunt, and no one fits that description more than Godfrey Park, who resides in a dump by the East River,” says the Rotten Tomatoes summary of the movie. “Irene hires Godfrey as a servant for her riotously unhinged family, to the chagrin of her spoiled sister, Cornelia, who tries her best to get Godfrey fired.
