Lincoln Police Cruiser (Jeff Motz/KFOR News)LINCOLN–(KFOR Mar. 20)–If your child is participating in the senior assassins challenge with other high school students, by shooting water guns at each other, make sure you talk to them about the possible consequences involved in the game. This follows a call to Lincoln Police on Thursday from Faith Bible Church at 6201 South 84th Street, where an unknown teenager approached the church on Wednesday evening, carrying a phone and wearing goggles, while handling a gun. LPD public information manager Erika Thomas says surveillance video was reviewed and officers determined it was a water gun. Thomas adds that this game could create any unnecessary alarm in the community and possibly lead to a more dangerous situation.
