CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A 30-year-old man has been charged with second-degree murder after a woman was found dead under suspicious circumstances in Chesterfield Monday afternoon. Officers with the Chesterfield County Police Department arrested 30-year-old Miguel Angel Cinto Yoc and charg ed him with second-degree murder, according to an announcement on Tuesday, March 3. Police said the investigation indicates that Cinto Yoc and the woman who was killed lived together, and the incident is domestic-related. This comes after Chesterfield Police officers were called to the 7500 block of Route 1 after 1:30 p.m. on Monday, March 2, for the report of a death investigation. When officers arrived, they found a woman, who was dead, and said at the time that the incident was being investigated as suspicious in nature. The victim’s identity is being withheld until her family can be notified. Officials continue to investigate.
