Mayor Linda Gorton officially reopened Dunbar Community Center today, celebrating the completion of a major, two-phase renovation. Once home to historic Dunbar High School, the community center is a lively neighborhood hub, housing all kinds of activities and Parks and Recreation offices. “We are so excited to officially unveil all these amazing updates to this iconic building,” Gorton said. “Today is a testament to the enduring legacy of a building that has served as an important place to build community across many generations.
