RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Legendary rock band Chicago is making a stop at Richmond's Allianz Amphitheater in June. The band's team announced on Monday, Feb. 23, that they would be performing at the Allianz Amphitheater at Riverfront on June 17. This year marks the band’s 59th consecutive year of touring. Presale tickets are available starting at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 24, with general on-sale beginning at 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 27. Hailed as one of the “most important bands in music since the dawn of the rock and roll era,” the band is celebrating the 50th anniversary of “Chicago IX: Chicago’s Greatest Hits,” releasing “Chicago IX: Greatest Hits Expanded” in August 2025. The band is recognized for over 100 million in sales, numerous hits like "25 or 6 to 4" and "Saturday in the Park" in the 1970s and massive 1980s ballads.
