Police Lights (Jeff Motz/KFOR News)FREMONT–(KFOR Jan. 30)–A student at Fremont High School was injured in a hit-and-run outside the school building Thursday afternoon, during a student-led protest over ICE immigration enforcement. A video posted by News Channel Nebraska shows the pedestrian gett ing hit by a red SUV with a Trump 2024 flag on the back.  Some students entered the street beforehand.  It also shows two people making gestures toward the SUV to stop, but the vehicle drove off. Courtesy of News Channel Nebraska Fremont Police say the protester was taken to the hospital, but no official updates have been made available about the extent of the person’s injuries.
