Jan. 29 | Evening forecast with Chief Meteorologist Keith Gibson and Meteorologist Drew Narsutis INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A brisk pattern will be maintained into the start of February with the potential for some warmer temperatures next week. Thursday night: Frigid again but wind chills won’ t be as lows as recent nights. Still, we’ll fall to around or just below zero with wind chill values barely subzero at times in spots. Friday: Very cold to end the workweek under mostly cloudy skies. Highs only in the mid teens. We can’t rule out some lake-effect snow showers into Friday night, but much of the activity will stay well north of Indianapolis. Saturday: Some lake-effect snow showers may linger. Another day with highs in the mid teens to end the month of January. 7-Day Forecast: The start to February on Sunday will feature a return to the 20s. We’ll continue to try and warm up through the first half of next week. The warmup will come with additional chances for snow Monday and Wednesday. It could also turn breezy again by next week as well. ...read more read less
