A 75-year-old woman was pronounced dead after she suffered burns to her body in a house fire Wednesday night in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood, Chicago police said. Around 10:15 p.m., officials were called to a fire in the 7000 block of South Bell Avenue where firefighters extinguished a blaze where a 75-year-old woman had suffered burns to her body, police said. The woman was taken to UChicago Medicine where she was later pronounced dead. As of Thursday morning, the woman has yet to be identified.
