A 77-year-old man and a 75-year-old woman are hospitalized with serious injuries following a fire in Middletown, Delaware, officials shared. According to officials, around 1:15 p.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2025, first responders were called to the 700 block of Cleaver Farms Road, the Villagebr ook Trailer Park, in Middletown, for a structure fire. When first responders arrived on scene, they found an active fire and two people, a 77-year-old man and a 75-year-old woman with injuries, officials said. Both people were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Officials said the man is in critical condition with burns and possible smoke inhalation and the woman is in serious condition with possible internal injuries and smoke inhalation. According to officials, a third person was evaluated at the scene by paramedics and declined any further treatment.
