Apple enlisted British musician Labrinth to create a new song during an overnight livestream, demonstrating the new touchscreen MacBook Pro and Logic Pro at Apple Tower Theatre in downtown Los Angeles. The session, titled "Labrinth Live on Mac," is now available to watch as a replay lasting alm ost four hours. It started on November 4 at 8 p.m. Pacific, or 11 p.m. Eastern, with Labrinth tasked with creating a song from scratch. He can be seen reaching onto the ‌MacBook Pro‌'s display to manipulate Logic Pro's mixer controls, with a multitrack arrangement visible onscreen. Viewers were invited to submit questions as he worked, and the finished song is due for release on Apple Music next week.
