CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte Hornets are part of a new joint venture that is buying the old Epicentre in Uptown Charlotte. Hornets Sports and Entertainment is teaming up with Lincoln Property Company and Vision Ventures to purchase the 300,000 square foot mixed-use development, now known as Queen City Quarter. It comes after years of steady decline and many businesses closing at the once-popular night life spot.
