(KRON) -- A man was killed after being struck by a pickup truck in El Sobrante on Thursday, according to the California Highway Patrol. CHP responded at 8:02 p.m. to San Pablo Dam Road, east of Hillcrest Road, on the report of a pedestrian-involved vehicle crash. Investigators said a red Chevrolet pickup truck was being driven westbound when it struck a pedestrian in the right lane. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
