Gift cards from local businesses and Grant Dental Swag will also be given out, along with a photo booth. Costumes are highly encouraged, and everyone is welcome. The event isn’t just about helping save children from some dreaded cavities or a Halloween candy hangover; it also gives back to U.S. troops.“We write them letters of encouragement, we send some candy, and let them know we are thinking about them, and it’s our way of reaching out and saying, ‘Hey, you guys are not forgotten,'” said Dr. Scott Grant in a social media video. “It happens around the holiday season, so we feel that it’s a great way to remember our troops and show some level of appreciation. We send them some toothbrushes as well, some floss.”During last year’s event, the community donated 1,300 pounds of candy, and organizers said they are shooting for 1,500 pounds this year.Grant Dental is located at 2275 S.
