(KRON) -- One of the West Coast's largest ice cream chains is opening its first location in Oakland next month. Salt Straw is opening in the city's Rockridge neighborhood on Friday, Nov. 13. The Portland, Oregon-based creamery is opening its ninth Bay Area location, joining San Ramon as the secon d in the East Bay. Oakland's Salt Straw will be located at 6310 College Ave., Suite 140. Salt Straw will be near the Safeway, Boichik Bagels, Peet's and Philz Coffee. (Photo by Smith Collection/Gado/Getty Images) According to a Salt Straw spokesperson, here are some flavors that will be served at the Oakland shop: Double Fold Vanilla Salted, Malted Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Parker House Rolls with Salted Buttercream Maple Koginut Squash with Pomegranate Turkey and Bacon Caramel Pumpkin Pie with Almond Croissant Streusel Cranberry Shortbread Tart (v) Salt Straw currently has eight locations across the Bay Area.
