Indiana Fever duo named to All-WNBA First Team INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The accolades continue for Indiana Fever guards Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell. On Saturday, Clark and Mitchell were each named to the 2026 All-WNBA First Team. It’s the first time in Fever history that two teammates have been selected to the league’s First Team in the same year. Mitchell led the Fever in scoring this year, averaging 24.7 points per game during the regular season. The only player who averaged more points per game in the league this past regular season was Las Vegas Aces center A’ja Wilson, who scored 26.2 points per game. Mitchell set multiple league records along the way, including most points (1,086) and most three-pointers (135) in a single season. The veteran guard also set another WNBA record this past season by scoring 20+ points in 27 straight games. Meanwhile, Clark averaged 22.3 points and 8.3 assists per game this past regular season. She is the only player in WNBA history to have 800+ points and 300+ assists in a single season. Like Mitchell, Clark set league records along the way as well. In fact, Clark became the first player in WNBA history to have 40+ points and 10+ assists in a single game when she had 45 points and 10 assists in a win over Seattle back in July. Mitchell and Clark have now each been named to the All-WNBA First Team two times in their careers. Clark was named to the First Team back in 2024, while Mitchell was named to the First Team in 2025. The only other player in Fever history to have been named to the All-WNBA First Team was Tamika Catchings, who received the honor seven times.
