INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Indianapolis Colts (2-4) have a big matchup against the Minnesota Vikings (5-0) on Sunday afternoon in Minneapolis. The Colts are hoping to get back on the winning track after dropping their last two games. On Saturday afternoon, the team provided a couple key injury updates, along with a couple of roster moves. Colts linebacker CJ Allen (ankle) has been downgraded to out for the matchup. He joins tight end Tyler Warren (groin), cornerback Sauce Gardner (calf) and wide receiver Anthony Gould (concussion), who were previously ruled out for Sunday’s game. Meanwhile, there was some positive news on the injury front as punter Rigoberto Sanchez (right foot) will play on Sunday. His questionable designation was lifted on Saturday. Sanchez did not practice throughout the week after injuring his right foot on a blocked punt in the team’s loss last Sunday against the Titans. As a result of the change in Sanchez’s injury designation, the Colts announced that they have released punter Thomas Morstead from the practice squad. Also, the team has elevated cornerback Kenneth Harris and linebacker Germaine Pratt to the active roster ahead of Sunday’s game. The Colts and Vikings will kick off at 1 p.m. EDT on Sunday inside U.S. Bank Stadium. News 8 Sports’ Angela Moryan is on the road with the Colts and will have coverage from Minneapolis beginning Saturday night at 10 and 11 on WISH-TV. ...read more read less
