Rosario’s October Happenings: Día de los Muertos, Cocktails + a Rooftop Halloween Party       Rosario’s, the Southtown staple, has a busy month ahead with a variety of activations, along with drink specials.   DÍA DE LOS MUERTOS AT ROSARIO’S Oct 9, 2026 through Nov 2, 2026     Rosa rio’s is honoring Día de los Muertos with a colorful ofrenda on display for guests to view throughout the celebration. Visitors are invited to stop by to see the display and take in the traditions of the holiday.       The restaurant’s patio will also offer a festive photo opportunity with its giant sugar skull statue, giving guests a seasonal backdrop while visiting the Southtown restaurant.       BIDI BIDI BOO RETURNS FOR HALLOWEEN Oct. 23, 2026 through Oct. 31, 2026     Rosario’s is bringing back its festive Bidi Bidi Boo cocktail for Halloween. The spooky seasonal sip features hibiscus-infused Deep Eddy Vodka and Halloween-inspired garnishes, including gummy eyeballs, black salt and a spider ring.       HALLOWEEN ON THE ROOFTOP Oct. 31, 2026 | DJ Pete: 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.     On Halloween night, Rosario’s will keep the celebration going on its Rooftop Lounge with music from DJ Pete and a costume contest. Sign-ups are available from 9 to 10 p.m.       Contestants will take the spotlight one by one, with winners determined by crowd participation. Guests are encouraged to bring their friends and cheer for their favorites. Prizes include $100, $50 and $50 in cash, plus a prize-filled swag basket for the first-place winner. There is no cover charge. The Rooftop Lounge is open to guests ages 25 and older.       OCTOBER SPIRIT OF THE MONTH: PATRÓN Available throughout October     Rosario’s is getting into the Halloween spirit with Patrón as its featured “spirit” of the month, showcased in three cocktails: the Watermelon Mint Margarita, Patrón Paloma Roja and Vida de Noche.       OCTOBER ROOFTOP DJ LINEUP Friday and Saturday nights | 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.   Rosario’s Rooftop Lounge offers a full bar, attentive service and views of downtown San Antonio, with indoor seating and an outdoor patio. Live DJs every Friday and Saturday bring a lively atmosphere to the sophisticated Southtown space.
