CHARLOTTE, N.C. – From the mountains to the piedmont, North Carolina is starting to show off its fall colors. Meteorologist Kaitlin Wright spoke with Dr. Howard Neufeld also know as “Fall Color Guy” about when to expect the best color this season. Dr. Neufeld is a retired plant ecophysiolog ist and biology professor at Appalachian State University. Dr. Neufeld teamed up with Ray’s weather to create an interactive map of current fall foliage.
