A man was hospitalized after he was shot in Avalon Park and then later crashed his car on Stony Island Avenue Wednesday afternoon, according to Chicago police.The unidentified 32-year-old man was shot in the back in the 1600 block of East 82nd Street at 1:30 p.m. before reportedly getting into his c ar and driving off.Soon after, he was on Stony Island Avenue when he crashed into a steel beam under the Chicago Skyway, police said.
