LONDON — Eagles edge rusher Jonathan Greenard is officially inactive for the game against the Jaguars at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Greenard, 29, suffered an ankle injury last week against the Rams and missed practice all week. The Eagles listed him as questionable heading into the weekend. Greenard missed the first two weeks of the season as he recovered from a pectoral strain he suffered leading into training camp. He played limited snaps against the Bears in Week 3 and then injured his ankle last week against the Rams. Before this game, Greenard went through a workout in front of trainers and Howie Roseman but wasn’t able to play. Here’s the full list of Eagles’ inactives on Sunday: OLB Jonathan Greenard (ankle) QB Saquon Barkley (hamstring) WR DeVonta Smith (hamstring) WR Hollywood Brown (ankle) OL Drew Kendall (knee) S Marcus Epps (groin) You might notice that the Eagles never officially placed right tackle Lane Johnson on the reserve/retired list this week. The expectation is that he remains on the 53-man roster the rest of the season. Of course, the Eagles would obviously welcome Johnson back but don’t expect him to return. Keeping him on the roster through June would help from a salary cap perspective. Both OL Jake Majors and RB Carson Steele are active after being signed to the 53-man roster on Friday. And so are TE Zach Ertz and OL John Ojukwu, who were both elevated from the practice squad on Saturday. Without Johnson (retired), Cam Jurgens (traded to Baltimore) and Kendall (out this week), the Eagles are going to have a very different offensive line for this game. This is the expected line for Sunday (from left to right): Jordan Mailata, Willie Lampkin, Jake Major, Tyler Steen, Markel Bell. Their backups are Fred Johnson, Micah Morris and Ojukwu. ...read more read less
