An investigation is underway after a woman was shot in Northeast Philadelphia just after 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10, police said. The shooting occurred at the 6300 block of Lawndale Street at around 5:26 p.m., police said. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a woman shot, police s aid. The unidentified woman was taken to the hospital and her condition was not immediately available, police said.
