Motorcyclist arrested for reckless driving in San Francisco

(KRON) -- A Pleasant Hill man was arrested after allegedly leading San Francisco police on a reckless ride through city streets, police said.
The San Francisco Police Department said a sergeant spotted a motorcyclist doing a burnout near Harrison and Seventh streets around 4:17 p.m. on Sept. 3. Pol
ice said the rider then sped through a red light and weaved through traffic.

The sergeant attempted to stop the motorcycle, but police said the rider continued fleeing and ran several more red lights.
Investigators later located the motorcycle on the 2400 block of Lombard Street using automatic license plate readers and drones. Officers responded and detained the rider without incident.
Police identified the rider as 23-year-old Victor Antonio Payan. SFPD said he did not have a valid license to operate the motorcycle.
Payan was booked into San Francisco County jail on several vehicle code, including reckless driving, reckless evading and driving without the proper license.
Police said the motorcycle was towed and impounded.
