Kelsey Mitchell finishes 3rd in WNBA MVP voting, Caitlin Clark places 4th

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Las Vegas Aces forward A’ja Wilson won the 2026 WNBA MVP award, earning the honor for a record fifth time. Wilson led the league in scoring, averaging 26.2 points per game, and blocks, with 1.9 per game.
Fever stars Kelsey Mitchell and Caitlin Clark also finished in
the top five in voting. Mitchell placed third after averaging a career-high 24.7 points per game and helping Indiana set a franchise record with 28 wins. Clark finished fourth.
In her third season with the Fever, Clark posted career highs in points per game (22.3), field-goal percentage (44.6%) and three-point percentage (36.1%). It is the second time she has finished fourth in MVP voting; she also placed fourth after her rookie season in 2024.
