What should Philadelphia streeteries look like? The city wants your feedback
Oct 06, 2026
Philadelphia officials are asking businesses, residents and visitors to help shape the future of outdoor dining in the city.
Two streetery prototypes will be installed at LOVE Park on Tuesday, Oct. 6, where members of the public can see the designs in person and share their feedback.
The city
is asking people to consider what they would want their streetery experience to feel like when dining outdoors at a Philadelphia restaurant.
Officials said the prototypes are part of Dine Outdoors Philadelphia, the City’s program overseeing outdoor dining in public spaces, including sidewalks and parking lanes.
Both streeteries will be open from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. daily.
If you could like to provide feeback on the streeteries, you can scan the QR code that will be located on site on the tabletops. Responses must be submitted by Nov. 23, 2026.
Once public feedback is evaluated, officials said that the city will make the two streetery prototype designs available for restaurants to download for free. Then restaurants can choose to create their own streetery designs for review and approval.
