BRUNSWICK COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A 34-year-old woman is dead after state police say she was ejected from her truck during a crash in Brunswick County on Saturday. Just after 8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 3, troopers with Virginia State Police were called to Interstate 85 South in the area of Old Stage Ro ad for report of a single-vehicle crash. Investigators determined that 34-year-old Jessica Coffman of Brunswick was driving a 2000 Ford F-150 southbound when she ran off the left side of the road and hit a guardrail. 7 hospitalized after crash involving GRTC bus in Chesterfield When the guardrail ended, the truck went up an embankment, then overturned, ejecting Coffman. She died at the scene. State police said Coffman was not wearing a seatbelt. No additional information is available as of the time of reporting.
