(KRON) -- A registered "high-risk" sex offender was arrested Thursday in Rohnert Park in connection with a sexual battery that started out as a foot massage, according to authorities. Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety detectives began looking into suspect Gregg David Nathan, 52, of Santa Ros a, after learning of an incident that occurred in late August on Redwood Drive near Golf Course Drive. “During the investigation, detectives learned Nathan had allegedly approached younger males and offered to provide them with a foot massage, telling them he had experience in reflexology,” RPDPS wrote. “Investigators believe that after beginning the foot massage, Nathan would attempt to escalate the encounter and engage in unwanted sexual contact.” Manny Yekutiel drops out of District 8 race amid new sexual assault allegations Detectives said they obtained information indicating that other victims may have had similar encounters with Nathan.
