A man died after a shooting in San Francisco Thursday afternoon, the police department said. Around 5:11 p.m., officers responded to the 1100 block of Thomas Avenue regarding a shooting, according to authorities. There, police say they found a man with an apparent gunshot wound. Officers rende red aid and the man was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to authorities. Authorities say this remains an open and active investigation.
