(KRON) -- Two anglers were hospitalized after being swept off rocks near Panther State Beach on the Santa Cruz County coast Tuesday afternoon, according to officials. Responding rescue swimmers from the Santa Cruz Fire Department and California State Parks brought both victims out of the ocean. Res uscitation efforts started on the beach before a Cal Fire helicopter lifted the two patients up a steep cliff. They were then rushed to the hospital.
