(KRON) -- Within 24 hours on Monday, three victims were found deceased from three separate traffic collisions across Sonoma County. The first victim was found just before 8 a.m., when California Highway Patrol officers found a woman's body in a ditch on Guerneville Road near Frei Road. Investigat ors determined that the woman had been either walking or riding a bicycle when she was struck by a hit-and-run driver the previous evening. Her bicycle was found a mile away. CHP officials wrote, "Investigators believe the bicycle was involved in the earlier crash and was subsequently moved more than one mile east of the original crash location, either after becoming entangled with the suspect vehicle or by being intentionally moved." The second crash victim was found lying on Highway 116 east of Sparkes Road at 8:39 p.m. CHP officers said. Investigators determined that the man "ran into the roadway directly in the path of the Mazda and was struck. The driver was not impaired and not speeding." A third victim was found at 9:13 p.m., after a driver veered off Tomales Road and crashed into a tree. "It was reported the vehicle was fully engulfed and the (driver) was trapped inside.
