A Bellwood man is facing attempted murder charges for allegedly stabbing a 28-year-old man in West Garfield Park earlier this year, according to Chicago police.Shawn Jackson, 56, faces a felony charge of attempted first-degree murder, aggravated battery causing great bodily harm and aggravated batte ry using a deadly weapon, in addition to a warrant being executed, police said. He was arrested Monday.Jackson is accused of stabbing the man in the 600 block of South Pulaski Road on May 1, police said.
