President Trump will visit Denton on Thursday to tour the Peterbilt Motors facility, according to the White House. An administration official said Trump is expected to deliver remarks to workers during the visit. In a statement, a White House spokesman said: “President Trump will visit Peter bilt Motors in Denton, Texas, on Thursday to tout his pro-growth economic agenda that has created more than one million private-sector jobs, sparked trillions in new investments, lowered taxes, and reshored key manufacturing back to the United States. The President’s America First trade agenda is driving a manufacturing renaissance that will continue paying dividends for the great state of Texas and Americans across the country.” The visit comes as North Texas is expected to see storms later this week that could bring heavy rainfall and potential flooding.
