Letter: Skyline tax dollars not being put to good use

Skyline does not put real money back in your pocket, as is claimed in pricey TV ads. In fact, the extra percentage added to our taxes for rail was supposed to be temporary, but it is still being added to everything we buy. Why is so much money being spent on full-page newspaper ads and TV promotion?
