An investigation is underway, officials said early Monday, after a man was stabbed in a hotel along City Avenue in the Wynnefield Heights section of West Philadelphia. According to police, officers responded to the Philly Inn Suites, along the 4000 block of City Avenue, at about 1:40 a.m. on Mo nday to find a man who was stabbed multiple times. The man, who police did not immediately provide addition identifying information on, was taken to a nearby hospital. However, as of about 5:30 a.m. on Monday, the victim’s condition was unknown. Also, police did not immediately provide information about any suspects in this case, nor did they announce any arrests. But, an investigation is ongoing.
