FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) — No injuries were reported after a house fire on Fort Wayne’s northwest side Sunday morning. Fort Wayne firefighters were called to a home on Bellflower Lane around 7:30 a.m., according to 21Alive. The Fort Wayne Fire Department says a neighbor alerted the residents afte r noticing a fire in the home’s attached garage. Two adults, one child and three pets were inside the home at the time. Everyone was able to evacuate safely. Engine 7 was the first to arrive and extinguished the fire in the garage and garage attic. Other crews searched the home to make sure everyone had made it out safely. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
