A 23-year-old man was wounded in a shooting in the Ashburn neighborhood late Saturday, Chicago police said.Police said the man was walking in the 8200 block of South Whipple Street at about 10:14 p.m. Saturday when he was shot.A black sedan had pulled alongside him and an unknown assailant fired sho ts from inside the car before fleeing in an unknown direction, police said.The man suffered a gunshot wound to his left leg and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in fair condition, according to police.Area One Detectives are investigating. ...read more read less
