The Miami Marlins today announced a $15,000 contribution to the Miccosukee Tribe to support educational opportunities for Miccosukee youth, building upon the growing relationship between the two organizations and recognizing the Tribe’s longstanding history and presence in South Florida. The Marli ns will formally present the donation during a pregame ceremony on Friday, Sept. 25, at loanDepot park. Miccosukee Assistant Chairman Ronnie Billie will accept the contribution on behalf of the Tribe and throw a ceremonial first pitch prior to the game. Members of the Miccosukee Tribe will participate in experiences throughout the evening at loanDepot park, which will conclude with postgame fireworks presented by Miccosukee Casino Resort.
