RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The eighth RVA East End Festival featured live music to raise money in support of music and cultural arts programs in the Richmond Public Schools (RPS) East End community. On Saturday, Sept. 26, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the 17th Street Market, 100 N. 17th Street, the RVA Ea st End Festival brought people together to raise proceeds for music, visual arts and performing arts programs at eight elementary, middle and high schools in RPS's East End district. The free event included various vendors, food trucks and performances from the Richmond Symphony along with some of Richmond's talented young musicians, dancers and visual artists.
