COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– South Carolina’s infrastructure is improving but it is still not great. Tuesday, September 22, the American Society of Civil Engineers announced the Palmetto State received a “C minus”. That’s a step up from the ‘D’ the state received in 2021. The report evalu ates aviation, bridges, dams, drinking water, ports, roads, transit, and wastewater. Officials say the C-minus grade means South Carolina’s infrastructure is in mediocre condition and requires attention. The next infrastructure report will be released in 2031.
