CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A decade after the police shooting death of Keith Lamont Scott sparked days of unrest, the Charlotte community gathered to remember his life and reflect on a decade of change. Activists and neighbors held a vigil at Reedy Creek Park over the weekend to honor Scott’s memory. The 43-year-old was shot and killed by a Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police officer on September 20, 2016.
