Person dies in motorcycle-truck crash in Indianapolis INDIANAPOLIS — A person died Sunday afternoon after a motorcycle and another vehicle crashed on the city’s southeast side, police said. Circle City Broadcasting images showed the other vehicle was a pickup truck. Indianapolis Metropo litan Police Department officers at 2:13 p.m. Sunday went to the 6600 block of South Arlington Avenue. That’s a forested area with homes on large lots between the roundabout at Shelbyville Road and the intersection with East Southport Road. Police said the person died at the scene. Authorities have not yet released the name, gender or age of the deceased. According to IMPD investigators, the driver of the other vehicle stayed at the scene and was talking with police. IMPD crash investigators were working to determine why the crash happened. A department public information officer did not go to the scene, and it was not yet known whether police will provide more information.
