SOUTH BEND — Two adults died and another adult was in critical condition after a shooting Saturday night in a residential area, South Bend Police Department said in a Facebook post on Sunday. Officers got a report at 11:25 p.m. Saturday of a large fight in the 1300 block of Bissell Stre et. That’s a few blocks northeast of downtown South Bend. Police arrived to find three people with serious injuries. Javon Hopper, 18, and Alaya Maez, 20, died at the scene.Geimisha Broadnax, 22, remained in critical condition. No arrest has been announced.
