Warm weekend with rain storm chances

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — More warm weather is in the forecast with on and off rain chances for central Indiana.
THIS EVENING: An isolated storm is moving out of central Illinois into western Indiana. We are watching it as it passes southeast through central Indiana. For the most
part, outside of a few pop up showers in southwest Indiana, high school football will remain dry tonight with temperatures in the mid 70s.
TONIGHT: Expect partly to mostly cloudy skies with low temperatures falling to the low and mid 60s for most. Rain chances return for northern Indiana later tonight around daybreak.
SATURDAY: On off rain chances will kickoff the day across northern Indiana. As for central Indiana, besides an isolated shower or storm in the morning, scattered rain and storm chances arrive in the afternoon and continues into the evening. There is a level 1 risk of severe weather on Saturday, with the main threat being gusty winds and heavy rain. Highs will be in the mid to upper 80s in the afternoon.
SATURDAY NIGHT: Rain and storm chances will pivot back north overnight, leading to a mostly cloudy night with temperatures around 70 degrees.
SUNDAY: Once again, more on off rain and storms for northern Indiana Sunday morning. Scattered rain and storms wont arrive for us in central Indiana until the later afternoon and evening along a cold front. A level 1 risk of severe weather has been issued. Main threats will be once again gusty winds and heavy rain.
7 DAY FORECAST: Lingering showers and storms are in the forecast for Monday into early Tuesday morning before the pattern turns quiet and mostly cloudy the rest of the week. The biggest change will be in out temperatures with daily highs in the upper 60s to low 70s…finally!
