Chen Brothers LLC purchased the 15,000-square-foot center at 5029 Veterans Memorial Blvd. from The Decorator Shoppe Inc., according to SRSA Real Estate, which represented the seller. Stephanie Boyd of SRSA represented The Decorator Shoppe in the transaction. Dan “Candy” Yang of Candy Realty LLC and David da Cunha of Property One were part of the buyer’s team, SRSA said. The five-tenant center is 100% occupied and includes Subway and Cedar Market, a Mediterranean grocery store. SRSA said the property attracted investor interest because of its full occupancy and built-in rent growth. “We saw an enormous amount of interest in this property because it was 100% leased and offered such strong value-add potential,” Boyd said. The new ownership plans to maintain the center’s current tenant mix, according to SRSA. The property is located along the Veterans Memorial Boulevard retail corridor, across from Zuppardo’s Family Market and near the intersection of Veterans and Clearview Parkway. The location also provides access to Interstate 10.
