RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A woman is in the hospital after she was shot in Richmond on Wednesday. At about 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 16, an officer with the Richmond Police Department was in the 4000 block of Government Road when they were flagged down and told a woman had been shot. That woman was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
