Three people were found dead in a house in the 6800 block of Boulder Lake Avenue, according to the San Diego Police Department. Police said the victims were a 54-year-old woman, a 56-year-old man and a teenager. A neighbor had been trying to reach the family since Tuesday night after hearing w hat she believed were gunshots at about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday morning, after not seeing the child leave for school, she entered the home. “She went over next door. She had access to the home because she dog-sits for her neighbors frequently. She was unable to reach them, which prompted her to go into the house and discover her neighbors deceased inside the home,” SDPD homicide Lt. Christopher Leahy said. Preliminary evidence indicates all three died from gunshot wounds, police said. Investigators also recovered a gun in the home. In a letter sent to families, the Pershing Middle School principal confirmed the death of an eighth grader who attended the school. No additional information on the student was provided by the school. Neighbors in the area said it was heartbreaking to wake up to a tragedy like this. “It seems like it’s a husband, wife, and a 13-year-old daughter.
