Search and rescue crews have safely located a mountain biker following a search through the Boise National Forest.The Ada County Sheriff's Office on Wednesday confirmed efforts were underway to locate Scott Schneider, who was la st heard from on Sunday, Sept. 13.In an update Wednesday evening, ACSO said that Scott was located with minor injuries and transported to a local hospital for evaluation.According to deputies, Schneider left a voicemail message for a friend just before noon on Sunday. In the message, officials say Schneider made indications that he was unsure of his exact location, "but believed he was near Aldape Summit and may have been heading toward Mores Creek Summit."Sheriff's officials thanked the Idaho Mountain Search Rescue Unit, the National Guard, Boise Police, and the Boise County Sheriff's Office for their help in the search. ...read more read less
